Image of Michelle Karnes, Assistant Professor

Michelle Karnes studies medieval literature, with a focus on religious literature and philosophy. Her first book project, The Age of Imagination, studies the role of the imagination in medieval meditations and theories of cognition.  She teaches courses on Chaucer, Langland, medieval mysticism, the Pearl-poet, Arthurian romance, and the Bible.
