Image of Skip Horack, Lecturer

Skip Horack was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in the Stanford University Creative Writing Program from 2006-08. He holds a BA from Florida State University in English/Creative Writing, as well as a JD law degree. A native of Louisiana, his fiction has appeared in The Southeast Review, New Delta Review, Louisiana Literature, The Southern Review, StoryQuarterly, Epoch, Narrative Magazine, and elsewhere. His short story collection, The Southern Cross, won the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference 2008 Bakeless Fiction Prize and was published by Mariner Books/Houghton Mifflin-Harcourt in August 2009.
