ENGLISH 90-3: Fiction Writing (seminar) Taught by: Tom Kealey Fall Quarter, 2009-2010 MW 3:15-5:05, Room: 110-111A | English 90 is a beginning course in the craft and art of fiction writing. We'll spend the first part of the course examining the basic elements of fiction: narration, description, and dialogue. We'll also read advanced works of short fiction, complete short writing assignments, write reaction papers, and we’ll read and discuss each others’ creative work. We’ll work on a longer piece of fiction in the second half of the class. |
