For our first event of the Winter quarter, the Center for the Study of the Novel has invited professors Emily Apter (NYU), Rhonda Garelick (Parsons/The New School), and Anne Higonnet (Barnard/Columbia) to discuss the relation between fashion as a social skin and modernity. Thepanel, entitled "Fashion Stories," will take place on January 9 at 4 pm in the Terrace Room (Margaret Jacks Hall, Building 460). A small reception will be held at the beginning of the event.
We will circulate a detailed overview of the panel in the coming days.
