Philip Knight, founder of Nike

Mr. Knight will discuss his recently published best-selling book, Shoe Dog: A Memoir by the Creator of Nike with Professor Adam Johnson, with introductions by Garth Saloner, Dean of the Graduate School of Business, and Professor Tobias Wolff.

One of the world’s most influential business executives, Phil Knight is the founder of Nike, Inc. He served as CEO of the company from 1964 to 2004 and currently serves as board chairman. Mr. Knight led Nike from a small partnership founded on a handshake to the world’s largest footwear, apparel, and equipment company. He lives in Oregon with his wife, Penny.

Mr. Knight will not be signing books at this event.
