Legacy Russell: Glitch Feminism

Legacy Russell is a writer and the Associate Curator of Exhibitions at The Studio Museum in Harlem. Their academic, curatorial, and creative work focuses on gender, performance, digital selfdom, internet idolatry, and new media ritual. Their first book Glitch Feminism: A Manifesto (2020) is published by Verso Books. 

 

They will be sharing their video essay "Glitch Feminism," followed by a conversation with Dr. Michele Elam, the William Robertson Coe Professor of Humanities in the English Department, a Faculty Associate Director of the Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, and a Race & Technology Affiliate at the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity.
