Methods Café is a dialogue series in the Department of English that pairs faculty members in a conversation about literary theory. Primary texts are chosen to exemplify relevant theoretical models.
The hugely innovative and exciting contemporary scholar, theorist, and public intellectual, Professor Ananya Jahanara Kabir, FBA will be with us on campus!
To celebrate, the Department of English is hosting a Methods Café with Professor Kabir on Thursday, April 3 at 4pm - 5:30pm in Building 260 (Pigott Hall), Room 252. Professor Kabir is calling her session “From text to body (and back): Reading and/as Moving.”
The café will focus partly on professionalization and (inter)disciplinary issues, and graduate students especially will benefit from conversation with Professor Kabir. We look forward to seeing you!
