Mark Algee-Hewitt receives the Arnold L. Graves and Lois S. Graves Award

Mark Algee-Hewitt has won the highly competitive and prestigious Graves Award in the Humanities. The Arnold L. Graves and Lois S. Graves Award reward “outstanding accomplishment in actual teaching in the humanities.” The award is administered by Pomona College in association with the American Council of Learned Societies. The President of Stanford nominates one junior faculty person every other year and this year Stanford nominated Mark.
